Rosa V. Vegas Week 8
Week 8 of the NFL season and it has been rough pickings on my part. We are definitely in the red so far, a change must come soon right? My run on bad picks can’t continue and even if they do you can still win money. How you ask? Just pick the opposite team I pick in the match ups. Like Jerry Seinfeld once said to one of my favorite characters of all time, George Costanza, “If every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right.” Here is my week to right the ship. Let’s win some money.
Arizona (+3) at Carolina
This is not the same Panthers team we saw make a super bowl run last year. The defense looks dreadful and the Cardinals offense lead by David Johnson who already had over 1000 total yards on the season. Even at home the Panthers have not proven enough this season to be favored by three points. I’ll take the Cards and the points.
Green Bay at Atlanta (-3)
The Packers should have won by 30 points last week, the majority of the game they faced the backup Quarterback’s back up Matt Barkley. The Packers just don’t look like the same team they have been in years past. The Falcons on the other hand have the most explosive offenses in the NFL and this will continue this Sunday. Vegas is only making us have to eat 3 points with the Falcons at home, I’ll take it.
Philadelphia at Dallas (-4.5)
I will admit it I did not want to believe in Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, but the combination of Dak, Ezekiel Elliot and that offense line is deadly. Zeke leads the league in rushing and Dak does not turn the ball over. These two rookies are taking the league by storm. The Eagle are coming off a big win against the Vikings last week. Philly will be coming into the game over confident and Dallas will control the time possession with Zeke then comes play action pass with Dak. I’ll eat the points I see Cowboys winning by close to double digits.
