From the minute we hear the jazz music fill the theater in the first scene of the “Green Book” we are immediately transported to the world of 1962 New York City. And if the music doesn’t capture your attention that witting yet direct dialog will. Genuine, clever and charming are only two of words that describe each character’s amazing moments that fill the screen.

“Green Book” is an emotion driven film that tackles numerous social issues such as race, sexuality and class.  Social issues that are still relevant today in certain settings.


Even with serious topics being tackled throughout the movie “Green Book” finds a solid balance between deliver its message while capturing the hearts of the viewer, a task that is beautiful accomplished by its two leads. Academy Award® nominee Viggo Mortensen’s portrayal “Tony Lip” is a perfect blend of classic wise guy cinema personas and heart-fulled emotional connection.
