7 Songs You Can't Miss || Pusha T Edition
Pusha T May 25th— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 19, 2018
Kanye recently tweeted that Pusha T album is dropping in late May and so it's only right I bring back my 7 song series and feature Pusha T. Let's get into it.
Exodus 23:1 the coldest diss record I've heard in quite some time where Pusha managed to address the Lil Wayne situation all while dissing Birdman and Drake in the same breathe. This track is just cold and that bare basic Pusha T. Heavy on the drug lingo and the visuals are equally as hard as the song itself.
Open Your Eyes has a chilling sample of the legendary rock group Queen, and Pusha is dropping nothing but gems for your ears. "Seeing is believing, believe when you see it, they saying I'm the best, shit, I'm just trying to be it. They tie me to a mountain of it, I just try to ski it. Long distance, wireless connect like I Wii it" Listen, man, press play.
Are you stupid? Press play and in the words of Michael Gary Scott "TURN IT UP TO ELEVEN"
When CB and Pusha link up they seem to make some magic and I think that must be that VA connection. A slept on song in my humble opinion.
Honestly, I miss "Hook French" his hooks were so disgustingly New York ghetto you couldn't NOT love em. This shit bumps and you might have missed it because you're foolish. "I could get your whole eulogy on Youtube" whaaaaat?
The Dream was able to pull a new level out of Pusha T. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. The chemistry these two guys had on this EP was very interesting and i'm hoping it continued on his new project coming out in May.
Jill Scott is a GOAT. Untouchable and she does a thing when she connects with these street rappers they bring something out of her and she brings something out of them. The same thing happened when she connected with Jeezy on the "Trapped" record. This is a smooth and intricate record and the label should have been bold enough to push it.
