More than just a super cute label, and really, who doesn’t love otters? Couldn’t you just watch the videos of them floating around, holding hands, all day long?
The 2016 Three Otters Pinot Noir is yet another stunning, stellar, Pinot Noir from what I’ve now come to believe, especially after attending the International Pinot Noir Celebration last year, is the Pinot Noir capital of the world, Oregon.
This wine is so scrumptious! It’s a fruity pinot with nice notes of cherry, good earth, with a little bit of licorice notes too. This wine which paired wonderfully with food, went down equally well on its own.
It’s often said that Pinot Noir is the go-to wine for pairing. Many pinots are so light, while they are perfect for pairing, they can be a bit weak when drinking on their own. This one really is perfect. And with a perfect price that’s less than $20.
And the label makes you smile.
