J. Rosa vs Vegas (Week 3)
Another week of football in the books and another week to win money. Now last week I took it on the chin with my picks going 0-3, bringing the season record to 2-4. This week I look to bounce back and get back to winning money!
Arizona (-3.5) at Buffalo
The Cards travelling east for a 1pm game could cause some concern, but that offense is clicking on all cylinders right now after putting on a beating on Tampa last week. Sammy Watkins might not play this week and the Bills defense looks very suspect; they gave up 37 points to the Jets last week and I expect similar results against that Bruce Arians offense. Give me Arizona.
Denver (+4) at Cincinnati
No Peyton, no problem. The Broncos are 2-0 and that defense is legit. Trevor Siemian has taken the reigns and has proven to be a serviceable QB. Denver runs the ball, controls the clock and plays smash mouth defense. The loss of Demarcus Ware will hurt them a bit, but I don’t see Cincy putting up big numbers here. The Bengals are real contenders in the AFC, but I see this game being real close. Give me that Denver defense plus 4.
Pittsburgh (-3.5) at Philadelphia
Not really a road game for the Steelers being that both teams reside in the state of Pennsylvania, and I’m sure Steeler Nation will travel to Philly. The Eagles' young QB has shown great promise in the first two weeks of the season but the real test will be Sunday. Big Ben and that Steelers offense will score points fast and often. Meek Mill will not be the only son of Philadelphia taking an L this week. Give me the Steelers.
