J. Rosa vs Vegas: Week 6
Week 6 and we are working our way back to a .500 record. This has been a wacky football year so far. The two teams that represented the NFC in the championship game last year (Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals) have a combined record of 3-7. After careful consideration this week, I know we will get back on track and we are looking for a 3-0 week. So let’s get to it, let’s make some money!
Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants (+ 3.5)
The New York football Giants have the potential to have one of the most potent offenses with a trio of really good receivers. Eli just has to step up. He has thrown too many ill-advised interceptions this season and we are only five weeks in. The Giants have rebuilt that defense. The offense is the only side that is letting down the team. We see a resurgent Giants offense this week, give me the Gmen.
Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks (-6)
Atlanta is one of the hottest teams in the NFL, coming off back to back wins’ vs last year’s Super bowl teams. They have one of the most electrifying offenses. With that being said, all of that changes this week. Seattle is coming off a bye and a big beat down on the New York Jets. The Seahawks will be rolling the rest of the season. I’ll eat the points and take Seattle.
New York Jets (+8) at Arizona Cardinals
What has Arizona done to be favored by 8 points? The Cards are shaky at QB, even with Carson Palmer. Since when has Palmer become an elite QB. Last year Palmer had a great year but what we are seeing from Carson this year is simply a regression to the mean. The Jets have real players on both sides of the ball. Their main weakness is at the Quarterback position. Fitzpatrick needs to protect the football and the Jets will be alright. Feed Forte and Powell the ball and stop making your defense have to defend a short field with all those turnovers. Eight points is too much to not take it, give me the Jets.
