Big Boi and Killer Mike: two prolific, Southern rappers known partially because of their critically acclaimed work in duo Rap group (OutKast and Run the Jewels respectively) are reportedly working on an EP set to release after Sir Lucious Left Foot's third solo album. "Wait until you hear this new shit," Big Boi told Spin.com "We’re just trying to put as many ideas out there as possible. And me and Killer Mike, we’re gonna put out a little EP after I put out my next solo record...." While they have worked together recently on the track "Banana Clipper" from Run The Jewels' 2013 self-titled debut, their last collaboration comes on the song "Born to Shine" from a collaborative EP that Big Boi and electric rock duo Phantogram hooked up for called Big Grams.

But before that, Big Boi and Killer Mike have had a multitude of collaborations, most notably on OutKast's Grammy Award winning track "The Whole World". While fans might have to wait even longer for Killer Mike's follow up to his acclaimed 2012 album R.A.P. Music, the wait might not be so bad at all. If their past collaborations are any indication, Big Boi and Killer Mike are set to drop one of the best projects of whatever year they choose to release it in. Get ready.
